Description :
Red Garden Paint’s Insulator is a water
based protective coating for thermal insulation application.
It provides a highly durable tough abrasion resistance coating.
It has excellent adhesion to canvas and other thermal insulation
materials.
Surface Preparation
And Application :
All surface should be clean, dry and free
from dust, grease and other foreign matters. Apply an even
coat of Insulator on to canvas or other lagging fabric. Wrap
lagging fabric arround pipe covering as a protective jacket.
Ensure the ends are lapped to provide a definite seal. Apply
a second coat of Insulator over jacket to protect pipe covering.
Canvas can also be dipped directly where saturation and shrinkage
are required.
Precaution
:
Do not thin-Do not apply in an excessive
temperature-Do not permit installation to go below freezing
within the first 36 hours after application. Clean tools and
adhesive smears with water.
Uses :
Insulator
is used for bonding and coating wide variety of thermal insulating
material on air conditioning ducts, cold water pipes and vessels.
Hot water pipes should be wrapped with cloth dipped in Insulator
after complete insulation by basic materials.
Can be applied on Canvas Coating-Expanded polystyrene-Polyurethane
foam-Plastic foam-Glass Clothes-Glasswool, Rockwool.
Advantages
:
High strength-Durable-Fungus resistant-Water
resistant-Crack resistant-Abrasion and fire resistant-Non
toxic, non flammable-Economical to use.
