Description

Red Garden Paint’s Enamel-Petal is extensively used for brushing and spraying application in almost every conceivable situation which requires a resilient long lasting finish.

Surface Preparation And Application:

Proper surface preparation is the key to success in paint application. Enamel-Petal is a finishing paint, and should be applied on properly cleaned and primed surface. Enamel-Petal is a Universal Enamel for mild steel, wood and concrete.

Technical Data:

Viscosity @ 25 oC	100 seconds min. Ford Cup B4.
Binder Type	A blend of Synthetic Resins with excellent gloss and gloss retention.
Pigment	Light fast weather resistant pigments.
Colours Available	White, Black and all shades exhibited in our shade Card.
Application	Brush, Spray or Roller
Average Spreading Rate	9-10 sq. Meters per liter per coat.
Drying Time	i- Surface Dry 1-3 Hours
	ii- Recoat 16 Hours
	iii-Hard Dry 18-24 Hours

Finish And Gloss	Smooth, Full Gloss
Scratch resistance	Stands more than 1500 gms. when tested accroding to B.S. 3900
Flexibility	Flexible over 6mm mandrel.
Salt Spray Resistance	More than 240 Hours, when tested as a system on Steel surface.
Weather Resistance	No corrosion appears after 1000 Weather

Film Thickness	Wet-50-55 microns/Coat -----Dry-25-30 microns/Coat
Gloss	90-95% on 60. Head gloss meter.

Thinner	White Spirit-Mineral Turpentine.
Thinning	Mix 8-12% of White Spirit to the Paint for brush Or roller and 20-
	25% for spray viscosity.
Storage Stability	Six to Eight Months when stored properly in original sealed containers.
Packing	20 liter 3.64 liter.

Note: Recommended spreading rate per liter based upon minimum recommended dry film thickness per coat. No allowance is made for material loss during application.
