Description
A thick paste blend of Polymers, Resins and Rubber inheriting excellent water & oil proofing properties designed to adhere to numerous substrates such as metals, plastics, polystyrene, wood, ceramic, cement plaster, concrete, masonry, stone, marble etc. It is an air drying product, however heat curing greatly enhances properties in composite assemblies in HVACR/engineering as adhesive sealant for joining two surfaces, rust/corrosion protective seamless insulation coating (Minimum 2 coats) on metallic pipes/structures for exposed to weather and underground applications. When perfectly dried the seal/layer so obtained is tough but flexible, water & oil proof, non-cracking, vapor barrier, saline/salty, sub-oil water, dilute acids & alkalis resistant.

Temp Resistance: Safe between 0 to 165 °C constant.
Coverage: 30-40 Sq. ft by Brush/Roller
Drying:
At room temperature in 48 hours. Film properties greatly improve upon baking at 120-130°C for 6minutes in an air circulatory oven. ( ASTM D-1640)
Dilute / Cleaner:
Normal potable water up to 5% if most essential. Can be cleaned with water while wet. Dried film can be debonded with S.M.T. ( White Spirit ) or Methylated Spirit.
Application:
Through brush or mechanical dispenser.
Storage / Shelflife:
18 Months when stored in air tight container below 25°C.

As Paper to Paper & Paper to Metal Adhesive Sealant.
Water Vapour Permeance:
For perfectly dried two uniformly thick coats ( 0.04" ) with 8 Oz. Canvas cloth sandwiched in between : 0.90 perm. Water vapor transmission through 1" thick impermeable insulation with 1/8 " joints of sealing compound negligible to be recorded. ( ASTM E-398 )
Behaviour / Safety:
The dried ( baked/cured ) film or gaskety seal is flexible & non-cracking, vapor barrier, water & oil proof, diesel/dilute acid/alkali U/V & weather resistant. non-toxic, non-flammable, non-corrosive and non-fungal. Perfectly safe in handling (ASTM D-3278 )
